| "Art is not the life, art is a compression of life" - that on 8 December 1929 in Baden, a small town near Vienna, who was born and internationally known artist Arnulf Rainer. The award-winning artist was in November 2003 of the Rhenus Municipal Museum of Art in Abteiberg in Moenchengladbach on last. This is in addition to Rainer Baselitz and Polke, the third artist, with this Award. He has in his long career artists a unique and extensive body of work created. He is regarded as researchers, explorers and experimenting joyous painter. The never waning curiosity has led to a continuous development of its labor.
