Much of my work is a reaction against what has recently been termed “super-hybridity”.
There is a conglomeration of many themes and ideas, from natural/world histories, through to, anthropology, language and culture.
I am interested in world culture and the everyday, the parts which ideas of the zeitgeist, hegemony, banality and notions of globalization play in affecting our ideas and daily lives.
Primarily I am a sculptor although I make paintings, photographs, interventions as well as having recently been experimenting with video.
My work concerns itself ostensibly with media and consumer culture, human-ideals, aspirations and exploits as well having a keen interest in social-political-biological and art histories.
